Marriott loyalists, take note: As of April 22, 2021, both of the Chase-issued Marriott Bonvoy co-branded credit cards are offering increased bonuses for newcomers.

New applicants will be eligible for the following limited-time offers:

  • Marriott Bonvoy Boundless™ Credit Card: Earn 100,000 bonus points after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. That’s 25,000 more points than the card’s previous bonus offer for the same amount of spending.

  • Marriott Bonvoy Bold™ Credit Card: Earn 50,000 bonus points after you spend $1,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. The new bonus is 20,000 more points than what the card previously offered for the same amount of spending.

NerdWallet values Marriott Bonvoy points at 0.9 cent each when redeemed for stays at Marriott hotels. That means the 100,000-point bonus from the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless™ Credit Card is worth about $900.

Both Chase-issued cards will continue to earn bonus points for purchases made at Marriott:

  • The $95-annual-fee Marriott Bonvoy Boundless™ Credit Card earns 6 points per $1 spent at Marriott Bonvoy hotels, and 2 points per $1 spent on all other purchases. The card also offers automatic Silver Elite status.

  • The $0-annual-fee Marriott Bonvoy Bold™ Credit Card earns 3 points per $1 spent at Marriott Bonvoy hotels, 2 points per $1 spent on other eligible travel purchases, and 1 point per $1 spent on all other purchases. Cardholders will qualify for Silver Elite status.

The Marriott Bonvoy Boundless™ Credit Card also comes with a Free Night Award (valued up to 35,000 points) every year after your account anniversary.

A free night award for 35,000 points lets you book a night at a Category 1 through 5 property at the standard rate (up to 35,000 points) or off-peak rate (up to 30,000 points). At the peak rate, the free night could be used at a Category 1 through 4 hotel. Terms apply.

How you can use Marriott Bonvoy points
